Case of harassment of Jain monks in Uttarakhand, case filed against YouTuber… STF formed for investigation

Devprayag police station in-charge Mahipal Singh Rawat said that a video was circulated on the internet media, in which a young man is making a video of two Digambar Jain monks and commenting on their sect while behaving indecently with them.
This video has been made in Tota Valley. In this case, a case has been registered against the video maker Suraj Singh Farswan son of Prithvi Singh resident of Tharali Chamoli.

At the same time, the police has formed STF to investigate the incident. Uttarakhand Director General of Police in charge Abhinav Kumar said that a case has been registered against the youth under sections of the Indian Penal Code and Information Technology Act.
At the same time, in the viral video, two Jain monks are seen sitting on the roadside parapet, while a person is standing in front of them. He is questioning why they roam around without clothes in public. Jain Muni tries to explain, but when he is not convinced, they refuse to answer further questions and leave.

The STF of Uttarakhand Police will investigate the matter and soon appropriate legal action will be taken against the person.
