‘He cannot earn his own living, he is a burden on his mother…’, Assam CM Himanta gets angry at Rahul Gandhi

In the midst of the Lok Sabha elections, the Congress is fiercely targeting the central government over the Agniveer scheme. Rahul Gandhi has repeatedly spoken about ending this scheme in his speeches. Now the BJP has taken Rahul Gandhi to task over this.
The BJP has said that Rahul Gandhi should first serve in the army, understand the army and then talk about the Agniveer scheme. The BJP said that the Congress party did not even give bulletproof jackets and ammunition to the army.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that under the Agniveer scheme, people will first serve in the army and then will be able to work in the state police. The youth like this scheme, so such a large number of youth are coming to give interviews. Targeting Rahul Gandhi, he said that Rahul can neither join the army nor be an Agniveer. He cannot earn and eat something himself. He is a burden on his mother. He is doing treason. I warn him not to say anything wrong about the army.
Union Minister Anurag Thakur said that the Congress should stop spreading confusion in the country. Congress did Bofors, Jeep, Agusta Westland scam. Congress did not give anything to the army. One rank, one pension was not given to the army whereas Modi government gave bulletproof jackets, arms and ammunition to the army. There is 100 percent job guarantee in Agniveer scheme. 75 percent Agniveer soldiers will remain in the army for four years and then there will be demand for them in the police department and private sector.
At the same time, General VK Singh said that I advise Rahul Gandhi to first work in the army and then talk about the army. First understand the army and then talk. There is no use of his comment.
