Kejriwal will have to surrender on June 2, Supreme Court registry did not accept the plea for extension

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal does not seem to be getting any relief from the Supreme Court. He will now have to surrender before the court on June 2. Let us tell you that CM Kejriwal had appealed to extend his interim bail for 7 days. But the Supreme Court Registry did not accept his petition.
The Supreme Court Registry has refused to accept the petition to extend the interim bail period of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal by 7 days. The registry says that the Supreme Court has given the CM the freedom to file a bail petition in the trial court. This clearly means that Kejriwal will have to surrender by June 2.
Let us tell you that recently Kejriwal had filed a petition in the Supreme Court, in which the CM had demanded to extend his interim bail by 7 days. According to the Aam Aadmi Party, CM Kejriwal still has to undergo PET-CT scan as well as many other tests. Therefore, he has sought 7 days from the Supreme Court for the investigation.
