Hindi Journalism Day: Uttaranchal Press Club organized a seminar and felicitation ceremony, Director General of Information said – instead of being fond of people, we are becoming fond of objects
On the occasion of Hindi Journalism Day, a seminar and felicitation ceremony was organized by Uttaranchal Press Club on Thursday. On this occasion, Director General of Information Banshidhar Tiwari was present as the chief guest.
On this occasion, Director General of Information, while wishing everyone on Hindi Journalism Day, said that the meaning of the first Hindi newspaper Udant Martand is the rising sun and in true sense this rising sun worked to show a new path. This path was both political and social. He said that whatever mediums are there at present, the social part is no longer visible in them. In such a situation, we need to bring social awareness once again. Today, somewhere we are also getting away from our human values and this is the reason that instead of being person-loving, we are becoming object-loving. Compared to earlier, now the lack of patience is also being seen rapidly in people. He said that today’s journalism and journalists face many challenges. While writing or covering news, we should take utmost care of balance.
On this occasion, senior journalists Jai Singh Rawat, Anupam Dwivedi and Sanjeev Kandwal also presented their views prominently on the changing nature of journalism. On this occasion, Press Club President Ajay Rana expressed his gratitude to the Director General of Information and other guests. On this occasion, journalists were also honored on behalf of Uttaranchal Press Club. On this occasion, all the officers and members of the Press Club Executive were also present.
