Uttarakhand: Fake online registration for Chardham Yatra, case filed against nine travel agencies

Dehradun Police is continuing to take action against travel agencies and travel agents who cheat the passengers coming for Chardham Yatra. Police has registered 8 cases in Rishikesh and one case in Vikasnagar police station in the fake online registration case. Let us tell you that the police has registered 35 cases so far in the fake registration case.

Case registered against nine travel agencies

The online registration of every passenger coming for the yatra is being strictly checked through the Chardham Yatra temporary checking center set up in Rishikesh and Vikasnagar. In this sequence, during the checking on Saturday, the online registrations of many passengers coming from different states were found to be fake. On which the police has registered a case against 9 different travel agencies and travel agents in Rishikesh and Vikasnagar police stations.

Case filed against these travel agencies

  • Registration of 4 member tourist group from Gujarat turned out to be fake, registration was done through agent of xplore Rahein pvt.itd, case filed against agent of xplore Rahein pvt.itd on the complaint of Bhoomik Muljibhai Jogi daughter of Muljibhai Jogi resident of Ahmedabad
  • Registration of 9 member tourist group from Maharashtra turned out to be fake, registration was done through agent of Maharashtra, case filed against Maharashtra travel agent on the complaint of Praveen Mahesh Verma son of Mahesh Verma resident of Maharashtra
    Madhya Pradesh agent cheated 8 member tourist group from Chhattisgarh in the name of getting them registered in transit camp. Case filed against agent of Madhya Pradesh on the complaint of Yogesh Singh son of Ram Lal Getra resident of Chhattisgarh. Within a few hours, the police arrested the agent
  • The registration of the 17-member group of tourists from Nasik, Maharashtra was found to be fake, they were registered through a local agent in Dehradun. A case was filed against the local agent of Dehradun on the complaint of Badu Pandlik Chaudhary, son of Pundalik Muralidhar Chaudhary, resident of Nasik, Maharashtra.
  • The registration of the 17-member group of tourists from Pune, Maharashtra was found to be fake, they were registered through SKYHIKE.IN Travels Agent. A case was filed against SKYHIKE.IN Travels Agent on the complaint of Umesh Dwivedi, son of Chandrasher Dwivedi, resident of Pune, Maharashtra.
  • The registration of the 19-member group of tourists from Indore, Madhya Pradesh was found to be fake, they were registered through the owner of Harsh Travels, Dewas, Madhya Pradesh. A case was filed against Harsh Travels, Dewas, Madhya Pradesh on the complaint of Suresh Chandra Chaudhary, son of Devchand Chaudhary, resident of Indore.

  • Registration of 16 member yatri group from Pune Maharashtra turned out to be fake, registration was done through local agent, case registered against local agent on complaint of Swapnil Sharadrao Shinde son of Sharad Rao Shinde resident of Pune
  • Rajkumar Shah Gujarat came to the police station and filed complaint about the case. Rajkumar told that he got the registration of Shiv Shakti Travels Ahmedabad done for Chardham Yatra with 18 people through Shiv Shakti Travels Ahmedabad through a person named Sahil Bhatia based in Haridwar. Sahil got fake registration of Rajkumar and his associates done. Police has registered a case against Sahil resident of Haridwar regarding the matter.
