Rakesh Tikait, while addressing the public meeting, said that mountain and plainism is being done with the farmers in Uttarakhand. The government is engaged in exploiting the farmers of Uttarakhand. The government is not giving fair price for the crops of the farmers. Due to the disaster in Haridwar district last year, several thousand acres of crops of the farmers were completely destroyed, but the government did not take care of the farmers. Farmers were misled in the name of compensation. Due to which the farmer will take to the streets himself for his rights. For which the farmer organization is being strengthened. Rakesh Tikait said that the government’s policy is wrong. Accusing the government, he said that by 2047, a conspiracy is being hatched to hand over 70 percent of the farmers’ agricultural land to industrialists.
Rakesh Tikait said that the government’s policy is only to ruin the farmers. The government does not talk about the prices of crops. It is conspiring to grab the land of farmers by giving loans to farmers at high interest rates. For which the farmers will have to stand up. Farmers will have to fight the government for their rights. Rakesh Tikait demanded that Uttarakhand be declared an organic state. Regarding the Lok Sabha elections, he said that the central government is dishonest. This government does not want to leave power. He said that the parties that have contested the elections will have to keep an eye on them.
