Uttarakhand / Dehradun: To impress his girlfriend, a BBA student became a thief, stole a bike, now he is arrested

To impress his girlfriend, a BBA student became a thief. The youth did not like the Splendor motorcycle given by his family. Due to which the student stole Yamaha R1-5 from Raipur area. The police arrested the youth and also recovered the stolen bike.

The bike was stolen to impress the girlfriend

The youth has been identified as Arpit Kumar son of Amit Kumar resident of Bijnor. Regarding the matter, on 16 December 2022, Vineet Tomar son of Satish Tomar resident of Cadet Defense Academy Raipur had given a complaint to the police. On the basis of the complaint, the police registered a case against the unknown and started investigating the matter.

Police reached the accused with the help of CCTV

The police team checked the CCTV cameras installed on the routes around the incident spot. On the basis of CCTV, the police arrested the accused youth from Sahastradhara Road, Mayur Vihar during checking and arrested the youth who carried out the crime along with the bike.

The youth is a BBA student

The youth told the police during interrogation that he is a BBA student in a private institute located in Dehradun. Currently, the youth lives in a rented house in Danda Khudanewala. The youth’s family has given him a Splendor motorcycle, but his friends had expensive motorcycles.

The youth told that he stole Yamaha R1-5 to impress his girlfriend and took it to his village Bijnor. In Bijnor, the youth removed the number plate of the stolen bike and brought it to Dehradun after some time and started riding it. The police has arrested the youth.
