Uttarakhand: Heat wave wreaks havoc in Roorkee, 11 people including 5 children admitted to hospital

The temperature is increasing day by day in the state due to the rising mercury. People are in a bad condition due to the heat. The heat waves are making life difficult for people. The havoc of heat wave has been seen in Roorkee. 11 people including five children have had to be admitted to the hospital due to heat wave.

Heat wave in Roorkee

People are in a bad condition due to heat wave in Roorkee. A large number of people are falling prey to heat wave and reaching the hospital. Yesterday, 11 people including five children have been admitted to the Civil Hospital Roorkee due to heat wave. Along with this, many patients have also come to the OPD who have symptoms of heat wave. Along with giving them medicine, doctors have advised to take special precautions.

11 people including five children admitted to the hospital due to heat wave

According to Dr. Sanjay Kansal, CMS of Civil Hospital Roorkee, about forty to fifty children came to the hospital for checkup yesterday. Out of which symptoms of heat wave were found in ten children. After which they were advised to be admitted to the hospital. Out of which five children have been admitted by their family members.

Alert has been issued for heat wave

CMS Doctor Sanjay Kansal said that many patients affected by heat wave are also coming in the emergency. They are being admitted and treated. Most of them are complaining of vomiting, stomach ache, diarrhea, fatigue, fever etc. Let us tell you that the alert has been issued due to severe heat and heat wave.

Doctor Sanjay Kansal said that amid the alert of heat wave, all the employees in the hospital have also been instructed to provide better treatment to the patients. He has appealed to the general public that due to the increasing heat, if there is no necessary work, do not leave the houses after noon till evening and consume more water so that there can be protection from heat wave.
