Uttarakhand: The number of deaths in Chardham Yatra is increasing, the opposition becomes aggressive, demands the removal of the Health Minister

The Char Dham Yatra which started in Uttarakhand in the last 10 years is at its peak. So far 67 devotees have died in the Yatra. Most of these deaths have been due to heart attack. The opposition has started cornering the state government on the number of deaths in the Char Dham Yatra. Congress candidate from Pauri Lok Sabha seat Ganesh Godiyal has demanded the removal of the Health Minister.

Ganesh Godiyal said that if the BJP government is even slightly concerned about the health department, then the state’s health minister should be removed with immediate effect. Godiyal said that a youth died in the health minister’s home district due to lack of primary health facilities. The youth, a resident of Nainidanda block, was referred from many hospitals, ultimately the youth died. He has described the death of the youth due to lack of health services as a slap on the health department.

Ganesh Godiyal said that the health minister’s focus is not focused on his department but is limited to winning elections. He said that the people sitting in power are the ones who have won on false waves, people who win by creating waves in the name of religion and sect can never protect the interests of the people. Ganesh Godiyal said that the Char Dham Yatra, which is considered the prestige of Uttarakhand, is being tarnished. Lakhs of devotees from all over the country come for this Yatra, in such a situation, if the devotees return with a sad experience, then the image of the state will be tarnished. Therefore, the Chief Minister should give priority to Uttarakhand before the election campaign.
