Jharkhand: A vehicle loaded with fish overturned on the road, passersby started competing to loot the scattered fish

A vehicle was carrying banned Thai Mangur fish in Dhanbad, Jharkhand. During that time, the vehicle lost control and overturned on the way and all the fish were scattered on the road. When people saw this, they started collecting the fish and taking them away. After the information, the police team also reached the spot and took stock of the incident. According to the police, a vehicle loaded with banned Thai Mangur fish met with an accident on the Howrah-New Delhi National Highway in Dhanbad. The pickup van overturned near the market in Topchanchi police station area. Due to this, the fish were scattered on the road. After this, there was a race among the villagers to loot the fish. People started taking fish to their homes in large quantities. People took away the fish scattered on the road.

The Topchanchi police was informed about this incident. As soon as the information about the case was received, the police team reached the spot and took stock. At present, the police have seized the pickup van. Officers say that the matter is being investigated. Regarding this incident, the driver Subodh Kumar said that the vehicle lost control and overturned after the tyre burst. He was going from Bengal to Aurangabad in Bihar with fish.
