Uttarakhand: The mercury is rising rapidly, transformers need coolers

The heat is increasing day by day due to the rising mercury. Due to the heat, it has become difficult for people to live. Due to the scorching heat, leave alone humans, even machines are getting heated up. Due to the heat, the transformers that supply electricity are also getting heated up. To keep them cool, the electricity department is taking the help of coolers.
Relief of coolers for transformers in summer
While on one hand people are troubled by the increasing heat, machines are also getting heated up. Due to the havoc of heat, people are forced to remain confined in their homes, and seeing the heat, the transformers that supply electricity are also getting heated up. The electricity department is cooling them by installing coolers and fans. However, even after this, the temperature of the transformer is decreasing by only 2 degrees Celsius. Let us tell you that coolers and fans have been installed for two transformers of 12.5 MVA installed in the power house.
Load coming on transformers due to high consumption
Due to the constantly increasing temperature, more load is coming on the transformers kept in the power houses. To keep them cool, the help of coolers and fans is being taken. Electricity department officials said that coolers and fans have been arranged to keep the transformers cool due to rising temperatures. So that the oil in the transformer remains cool and the temperature of the transformer also remains low.
There is a fear of transformer blowing up
Due to high heat, people are using coolers, fans and ACs more in their homes. The direct effect of which is visible on the transformer. When the transformer gets heated due to continuous power supply, there is a high possibility of it blowing up. Therefore, efforts are being made to keep them cool with the help of coolers.
