Milk became expensive as soon as elections ended, Amul and Mother Dairy increased the price

As soon as the Lok Sabha elections are over, the country’s two largest milk producing companies have increased the prices of their products. Earlier, Amul had increased the price of milk by Rs 2 per liter. After this, within 12 hours, Mother Dairy has announced an increase in the price of milk in the Delhi-NCR market.
Mother Dairy increased the price
The company has increased the price of milk by Rs 2 per liter. The reason for this is said to be the increase in cost in the last 15 months. The increase in the price of all types of milk has been implemented from Monday i.e. June 3 in Delhi National Capital Region as well as other markets. The company last changed the prices of its liquid milk in February 2023.

Mother Dairy’s full cream milk will now be available in Delhi-NCR at Rs 68 per liter, while toned milk at Rs 56 and double toned milk at Rs 50 per liter. Buffalo milk will be priced at Rs 72 and cow milk at Rs 58 per liter. Token milk will be sold at Rs 54 per liter.
Let us tell you that earlier Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation had said that in view of the increase in the total costs of operation and production of milk, the price of all types of Amul milk was increased by Rs 2 per liter from Monday. Due to this, the price of Amul milk pouch will increase by Rs 2 per liter in all markets across the country.
