Uttarakhand: People coming to Haldwani and Nainital should pay attention, make a plan after looking at the traffic plan on June 4

Counting of votes for Lok Sabha elections is to be held on June 4. For this, Nainital Police has released the route plan for June 4. In such a situation, if you are coming to Nainital or Haldwani or Kainchi Dham, then make your plan only after seeing the route diversion plan. Otherwise you may get troubled.

Make a plan after seeing the traffic plan on June 4

Due to counting of votes in Haldwani, Nainital Road will be a zero zone from 6 am to 10 pm from Bhotia Padav Police Chowki to the road going to Awas Vikas. During this time, traffic will be completely closed here. Along with this, the roads around MBPG College will also be sealed.

Route diversion plan

  • All vehicles coming from Rampur Road and going to the hilly area will be diverted from Sheetal Hotel Tiraha and will go to their destination via Teenpani using Gola Bypass Road and Nariman Tiraha.
  • All vehicles coming from Bareilly Road and going to the hilly area will be diverted from Teenpani Tiraha and will go to their destination via Gola Bypass Road and Nariman Tiraha.
  • All vehicles coming from Kaladhungi Road and going to the hilly area will be diverted from Unchapul/Laldan Tiraha and will go to their destination via Nariman Tiraha via Hydel Gate, Call Tax Tiraha.
  • All vehicles coming from the hilly area and going to Rampur Road and Bareilly Road will be diverted from Nariman Tiraha and will go to Bareilly Road and Rampur Road via Gola Bypass Road.
  • All vehicles coming from the hilly area and going to Kaladhungi Road will be diverted from Call Tax Tiraha and Hydel and will go to Kaladhungi Road via Panchakkki Tiraha and Laldan Tiraha.
  • All vehicles going from Tikonia towards Kathgodam will be diverted from Tikonia Square and will go towards Kathgodam via the right side of the road.
  • All two-wheelers and four-wheelers coming from Panchakkki Tiraha towards Donhariya will go to their destination via Pani Ki Tanki and Mukhani Square.
  • All heavy vehicles will not enter the restricted area Nainital Road from 06:00 am to 22:00 pm on 04.06.2024 in view of the counting of votes for the Lok Sabha General Elections- 2024.

All heavy vehicles will use bypass routes

  • Diversion plan for roadways, KMU and private buses
  • Roadways and KEMU buses coming from the hilly area will be diverted from Nariman Tiraha and will come to KMU and Roadways station from Taj Chowk via Gola Bypass Road Golapul.
  • Roadways and KEMU buses going to the hilly area from Roadways and KEMU station will go to their destination via Taj Chowk Golapul and Gola Bypass Road Nariman Tiraha.
  • Entry of roadways, KEMU and private buses from Roadways Station Haldwani towards Tikonia will be completely prohibited.

The area in front of Degree College (left side of the main road) from Bhotia Padav Chowki, from Degree College Tiraha (petrol pump) to Awas Vikas Tiraha Nainital Road, from Degree College Tiraha to Kulyalpura Square to Saraswati Restaurant to Maharani Hotel Nainital Road, except vehicles related to Lok Sabha election counting, entry of all other types of small four wheelers and two wheelers will be prohibited.
