Congress opposed to expanding service to retiring officers in Uttarakhand, demand to give opportunity to qualified young officers

In Uttarakhand, the Congress has demanded a quick ban from the Dhami government and the departments to extend the service to the officers who are retiring. State Congress President Karan Mahra says that the state is running on the trust of contract officials. The morale of senior and capable officers falls in detail. Mahra has opposed the decision of the state government, questioning the expansion of service to the retired officers.
Mahra said that due to expansion of service, qualified officials are not getting a chance. In such a situation, if the new generation is not allowed to come forward, then how long the service will continue to expand. He said that many officers are to be transferred in June and July. But I can say with full claim that new people will not be given priority to come forward. Rather, only the old officers will be given service extension.
Karan Mahra claimed that he has strong information about this. He said that in the government and various departments, the service of the officers being done one after the other seems to be a shortage of capable officers in the state. At the government level, Chief Secretary, Director General of Police, PWD Chief, Chief Engineer of Irrigation Department, Director General of Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam, Managing Director of UPCL, Managing Director in charge of Pitkul, the government by repeatedly expanding service to the government Work is being done to demolish the morale of the officers.
Along with this, the right to seniority is also being taken away from them, which is not justified. Raising the demand, he said that the capable and qualified officers should be given a chance after finishing the service expansion of high officials.
