Lok Sabha Election Results 2024: How many Muslim candidates won this time? See full list…

The results of the Lok Sabha elections are now completely clear. This election BJP -led NDA has won 292 seats. At the same time, the Congress -led India alliance has won 234 seats. By the way, among all of them, one thing which many people keep an eye on and that is how many Muslim MPs reached the Lok Sabha this time. Talk about Muslim leaders this time in the Lok Sabha elections, a total of 78 Muslim candidates were in the fray, which is much less than the previous elections. Last time, in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, various parties fielded 115 Muslim candidates.

Out of these 78 Muslim candidates, only 15 Muslim candidates won in this election. It has a big name from TMC candidate and former Indian cricketer Yusuf Pathan, who won a comfortable victory in Bahrampur, the stronghold of Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary. On the other hand, All India Majlis -e -Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi won the BJP’s Madhavi Lata by a margin of 3.38 lakh votes.

At the same time, Abdul Rashid Sheikh, popularly known as Rashid Engineer in Baramulla seat of Jammu and Kashmir, defeated Omar Abdullah, 4.7 lakh votes. At this time, Rashid, who was in jail in Delhi, contested this election as an independent. In Ladakh, Independent candidate Mohammad Hanifa won by a margin of 27,862 votes.

Apart from this, Congress candidate Imran Masood won by a margin of 64,542 votes from Saharanpur seat, while 29 -year -old candidate of Samajwadi Party from Kairana defeated BJP’s Pradeep Kumar by 69,116 votes. On the other hand, current MP from Ghazipur, Afzal Ansari won the seat by securing 5.3 lakh votes.

In Uttar Pradesh itself, the Mohibullah of the Samajwadi Party won the Rampur seat by securing 4,81,503 votes, while Ziaur Rahman won in Sambhal by a margin of 1.2 lakh votes. While Mian Altaf Ahmed of the National Conference won the Anantnag-Rajouri seat in Jammu and Kashmir by 2,81,794 votes against former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti.

On the other hand, NC candidate Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi secured 3,56,866 votes in Srinagar. On the other hand, Yusuf Pathan, who is contesting for the first time in the Bahrampur seat of West Bengal, defeated Congress leader and six -time MP Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary by 85,022 votes in the Lok Sabha.
