Indian Army got 355 brave young officers… passed out in the passing out parade of Dehradun…
355 young men became officers in the Indian Army after passing out from the Indian Military Academy (IMA) located in Dehradun. During this time, 39 cadets from friendly foreign nations will also pass out and become officers in their country’s army. The courage of the young officers was worth seeing in the passing out parade.
The POP of the 154th Regular and 137th Technical Graduate Course was held at IMA on Saturday morning. When the cadets marched on the Chadwood Drill Square, their family members sitting in the gallery in front encouraged them.
After the oath ceremony at IMA, they took their first step of serving in the army as lieutenants. 39 foreign cadets are included in the total 394 cadets who passed out from IMA.
355 Indian cadets will join different corps of the army and go to serve in every corner of the country. The parade was saluted by the GOC of the Northern Command, Lieutenant General MV Suchindra Kumar. During this, IMA Commandant Lieutenant General Sandeep Jain, Deputy Commandant Major General Alok Naresh were also present.
