A lot of people go to Rishikesh in Uttarakhand on weekends. Along with the Ganga Maayya Aarti, tourists also enjoy the wonderful cafes and adventure sports here. Rishikesh is very popular for rafting. But a video is going viral on social media, after watching which many people are shocked. It is being claimed that on Friday, rafting guides beat up tourists badly at ‘Brahmapuri Rafting Point’, the video of which has spread like fire on the internet.

This video was posted on microblogging site X on June 8 from a handle named @gharkekalesh. In the viral clip, it can be clearly seen how rafting guides are beating some tourists, who were probably getting ready to go rafting. Tourists can be seen running away from the river bank, while several rafting guides are continuously hitting them with paddles (boat rowing paddle). In this chaotic video, people are seen trying to escape while being beaten, while some are seen shouting and trying to save themselves.

The video shocked the public

However, the real reason for this fight is not yet clear. Some people say that there may have been a dispute over money or safety rules, which is not unusual at this famous rafting spot. According to reports, despite this fight, no one has yet lodged a formal complaint with the police. The video has been viewed more than 87 thousand times so far and it is being shared rapidly on different social media platforms.
