Chief Secretary Smt. Radha Raturi received a courtesy call from CRPF trainee officers who had come to Uttarakhand on an educational tour to the Secretariat. The Chief Secretary and CRPF trainee officers held detailed discussions on disaster management in the state, development work in border villages and development schemes being run in the state.
Chief Secretary Smt. Radha Raturi said that CRPF has a very important role in maintaining law and order and assisting the states in anti-terrorism operations. With a nationwide presence, in collaboration with the state police, its remarkable ability to quickly adjust to various situational demands has given CRPF the reputation of being one of the most widely accepted forces.
