Uttarakhand: IFS officers will have to wait for the transfer list, update came regarding new responsibility in the forest department

IFS officers are eager for the meeting of the Civil Service Board in Uttarakhand. It was believed that the meeting of the Civil Service Board would be called immediately after the Lok Sabha elections. Along with this, officers across the state will also get new responsibilities. But at the moment it does not seem to be happening.
It is going to take some more time for the transfer of IFS officers handling the important responsibility of the Forest Department in the state. The reason for this is that the meeting of the Civil Service Board does not seem to be proposed in the month of June. However, there was a plan to transfer and deploy officers in the Forest Department as soon as possible. But due to the busy schedule of the departmental minister and the Principal Secretary Forest, the meeting of the Civil Service Board will not be held right now. In this way, the meeting of the Civil Service Board in the state seems likely to be held only after July 4.
A large number of IFS officers are to be transferred in the state. There is to be a change from the DFO posted in the field to the headquarters level officers. Officers who got promotions recently are also to be given new responsibilities. There are many officers who have been on the same posting for a long time. They will also be shifted from one place to another.
Changes are to be made at the Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (APCCF) level posts. Also, promoted Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (PCCF) can also be added to the list for new responsibilities. A list has already been prepared for the transfer. And now this list is being discussed with the possibility of some amendments. Apart from this, with the news of transfer, all the officers have also started making recommendations regarding their new posting. However, there is still about 1 month left for the list.
