ST Hasan is upset due to absence of even one Muslim face in Modi Cabinet

Samajwadi Party leader ST Hasan has targeted the central government for not giving place to a single Muslim face in the Modi cabinet. He said that this is the first time since independence that there is not a single Muslim face in the Union Cabinet, it is a matter of regret. ST Hasan said, “The second largest population of India has not been given a place in this cabinet. Muslims should have been represented in the Modi cabinet, but these people did not give place to a single Muslim face. However, the statements made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi before this have caused us immense pain. Our heart is broken after listening to the Prime Minister’s statements. I want to ask this question that are Muslims not citizens of this country? If Muslims did not vote for you, will you people take revenge now? Have you people embarked on the politics of revenge? This should be considered. We did not expect this from Modi ji.”
‘I made a big mistake by not listening to Akhilesh’
Apart from this, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav had asked ST Hasan to contest from Rampur, but he refused to contest from there out of respect for Azam Khan and contested from his traditional seat Moradabad, which resulted in him facing defeat. When ST Hasan was questioned on this, he said, “I regret that I did not listen to Akhilesh Yadav ji. If I had listened, I would also have been sitting in Parliament today. Akhilesh Yadav had asked me to contest from Rampur, but I refused. The reason for my refusal was Azam Khan. I did not want to interfere in his electoral jurisdiction in any way. I am realizing what a big mistake I made by not listening to Akhilesh Yadav.
‘I know very well because of whom my ticket was cut’
The SP leader further said, “I know very well because of whom my ticket was cut, but I cannot say much about this in front of your camera. I understand one thing that Akhilesh Yadav’s order is paramount for all of us. I made a mistake that I did not contest the election from Rampur, but whatever order he gives in the near future, it will be paramount for me. Today I understand that I should have taken care of Akhilesh Yadav.”
‘My wish is that the party should get me a place in Parliament in any way’
He further said, “I have raised my voice in favor of my people in Parliament while being an MP for so many years, but today I am not an MP due to some reason, which I regret. But my wish is that my party should get me a place in Parliament in any way, so that I can raise my voice in favor of my people. I want to say one thing again that whatever order Akhilesh Yadav ji gives, it is set in stone for me from now on. That order will be valid for me. I will accept it at all costs and follow it.”
