Uttarakhand / Dehradun: Encounter between police and robbery accused, one miscreant got shot in the leg, three arrested

There has been an encounter between Dehradun police and criminals once again. In the encounter, one of the accused who escaped after committing robbery has been shot in the leg. While three have been arrested by the police.

According to the information received, the police was conducting a checking campaign in Darra Rate. During the checking, the criminals broke the barrier and started running towards the forest in a utility. The police chased the criminals, then the utility collided with a tree. During this, the police has arrested a criminal in the forest of Timli Dharmawala.

The criminal was shot in the leg

Then another criminal ran away and opened fire on the police. On retaliatory firing, the police shot the criminal in the leg. Due to which the accused got injured. After receiving the information, SSP Ajay Singh reached the spot. The police team took the injured criminal to the hospital for treatment.

The robbery incident was carried out in Sahaspur

The police have recovered a 315 bore pistol and two cartridges from the possession of the criminals. Let us tell you that the miscreants along with their three companions had carried out the robbery in Khushalpur Sahaspur on the night of June 5. Another accused Aslam involved in the robbery has been arrested from Haridwar by the police team.
