Uttarakhand: Heat wreaks havoc in the plains, police reduced the timing of traffic lights, commuters got relief

Heat wave continues in the plains of Uttarakhand as well. Dehradun SSP Ajay Singh has visited Dehradun and has given instructions to reduce the timing of traffic lights. So that the pedestrians can get some relief from the scorching heat.
Police reduced the timing of traffic lights
The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for heat wave for many plain areas of the state including Dehradun. Seeing the weather in the capital Dehradun, the SSP visited Dehradun and tried to know at which places in Doon the traffic lights are burning for a long time and for how long people have to stand at the traffic signals.
Passengers will get relief from heat
After visiting from Rajpur Road to GMS Road and Haridwar Marg Rispana Bridge, SSP Dehradun has ordered to immediately reduce the timing of traffic lights wherever they were high in Dehradun. So that the pedestrians can get some relief from the heat. The SSP said that this decision has been taken in view of the heat so that people do not have to face problems.
