‘Congress is now stuck in the 99 circle’, JDU hits back at Mallikarjun Kharge

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge targeted the Center on several issues. He questioned the Modi government on the lack of mandate in the Lok Sabha elections, NEET paper leak, etc. Meanwhile, JDU has hit back at Kharge. RJD leaders were seen standing in support of Kharge.
Former Information and Public Relations Minister of Bihar and JDU MLC Neeraj Kumar asked Kharge about the scorecard of the Congress-led governments of PV Narasimha Rao and Manmohan Singh. He asked whether Kharge is unaware of the legacy of Congress. Without mincing words, Neeraj said, “Congress is now stuck in the 99 circle.” Responding to a question related to the recent statements of Mohan Bhagwat and Indresh Kumar, he said that this issue is an internal matter of BJP-RSS.
Meanwhile, when there were fierce attacks from the NDA, RJD stood with its ally. RJD spokesperson Ejaz Ahmed said, “Kharge is right. The public mandate is against the Modi government. The voters did not accept them. Yet they came to power.”
Commenting on the recent statements made by top RSS functionaries including Mohan Bhagwat and Indresh Kumar, he said, “The BJP and the RSS are trying to save each other’s face. Such statements are nothing but an open attempt to strike a political balance. They are pretending to save the BJP from losing its face. Indresh tried to strike a balance between the BJP and the sentiments of the people, but he did more than he was capable of.”
