Amidst the rigging in the NEET exam of medical, an important statement of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has come to the fore. On reaching his parliamentary constituency Sambalpur in Odisha, Dharmendra Pradhan said that on the recommendation of the Supreme Court, re-examination of 1,563 candidates has been ordered. Some irregularities have come to the fore at two places during the NEET examination.

Need for improvement in NTA
At the same time, the Union Education Minister assured the students and parents that the government has taken this whole matter seriously. Senior officials of the National Testing Agency were also found guilty, they will not be spared. The Union Minister also admitted that there is a need for improvement in NTA. The government is concerned about this. No culprit will be spared, they will be given the strictest punishment.

Re-examination will be held on 23 June 2024
At the same time, the National Testing Agency told the Supreme Court on Thursday that the scorecards of 1,563 candidates who got grace marks in the NEET 2024 exam will be canceled. These candidates will be given a chance to appear in the exam again. The re-examination of NEET will be held on 23 June 2024. The results of this examination will come by 30 June. At the same time, the Supreme Court will hear the NEET exam controversy on 8 July.
