This government hospital in Rajasthan will have the country’s first largest robotic rehabilitation center, robotic machines will be installed at a cost of 23 crores

Robots will now be used to improve the muscles of patients suffering from brain and neurological disorders in the state’s largest SMS hospital. A robotic rehabilitation center will be set up after robotic surgery in SMS Hospital. In this robotic rehabilitation center to be built at a cost of 23 crores, efforts will be made to improve the muscles of patients suffering from brain and neurological disorders and to provide a better life to patients living on beds and wheelchairs.

Patients of brain stroke, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy lose balance while standing along with pain. Due to this, the patients live a life like a disabled person even though they are not disabled. The state government has taken a positive step to give a new life to such patients. In the budget announcement of the previous government, it was announced to open a robotic rehabilitation center in SMS Hospital at a cost of 23 crores. Work started rapidly on the budget announcement and now a work order will be issued soon to give a new look to the SMS Rehabilitation Center.

Regarding the Robotic Rehabilitation Center, Dr. Mrinal Joshi, Director of the Rehabilitation Center of SMS Hospital, said that efforts are being made to make the Robotic Rehabilitation Center of SMS the best center in India. In which 8 different types of robotic machines will be installed. In which robotic therapy machines will be installed which will focus on the movement of the legs by controlling the principle of robotic gait training by repeatedly walking and muscle patterns. Which will help the patient to gain confidence and learn. Robotics will motivate the brain to learn and remember walking effectively through the practice of walking with the robot.

Along with developing the Robotic Rehabilitation Center, other facilities for patients will also be expanded in the center. Where currently 700 to 800 patients come to the center daily, in such a situation, in view of the increasing number of patients in the coming time, beds and manpower will also be increased for admission.
