Uttarakhand: AIIMS Rishikesh in news again, doctor slapped female nursing officer, know the whole matter

Every day, some or the other ruckus in AIIMS is constantly making headlines. The latest case is being told of the operation theater of AIIMS. Where a senior resident doctor slapped a nursing staff woman. The video of the dispute has also surfaced. At present, the doctor has been suspended.
A dispute broke out between a doctor and a female nursing officer in the trauma center of AIIMS Rishikesh on Saturday evening. It is alleged that the injured in the Rudraprayag accident were brought to AIIMS, for whom the operation theater was being vacated. During this, a dispute broke out between the doctor and the female nursing officer over something. The angry doctor slapped the female nursing officer. After that, there was a heated argument between the two. Both of them scolded each other a lot.
Other nursing officers present there somehow pacified the matter. Meanwhile, someone made a video of the incident and shared it on social media. The Nursing Officers’ Association has demanded action from the AIIMS administration regarding this incident which has brought shame to the institute. If this does not happen, they have warned of agitation. The concerned senior resident has been suspended by the AIIMS administration for the time being.
Let us tell you that on Saturday afternoon, the injured people in the Rudraprayag Tempo Traveller accident were airlifted to AIIMS Rishikesh. Preparations were underway to vacate the operation theatre of the Trauma Centre. During this time, a dispute broke out between the senior resident doctor and the nursing officer.
AIIMS Public Relations Officer Sandeep Kumar said that the video related to the incident has been investigated. Prima facie, the accused senior resident doctor has been suspended by the AIIMS administration.
