Uttarakhand: CM enquired about the condition of passengers injured in Rudraprayag accident, announced compensation to the dependents of the deceased

So far 14 people have died in the tragic accident in Rudraprayag on Saturday. While 12 passengers are injured. The seriously injured were referred to Higher Center AIIMS. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inquired about the condition of the injured on Saturday evening.

CM Dhami inquired about the condition of the injured of the vehicle accident in Rudraprayag admitted for treatment in Rishikesh. The Chief Minister also obtained information from the doctors of AIIMS regarding the treatment of the injured. Along with this, he also directed for better treatment of the injured.

CM Dhami ordered investigation

CM Dhami said that instructions have been given to the District Magistrate Rudraprayag to investigate the accident in Rudraprayag. He said that instructions have also been given to the officers for effective control of vehicle accidents in the state. Giving a strict warning to the officers, he said that if negligence is found in the discharge of responsibility by the officer of any department, then action will be taken against the concerned officer.

CM announced compensation to the dependents of the deceased

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has given instructions to provide financial assistance of two lakhs each to the dependents of the deceased in the Rudraprayag accident. Along with this, instructions have been given to provide financial assistance of Rs 40,000 each to the seriously injured and Rs 10,000 each to the general injured.
