Uttarakhand / Kotdwar: Gold chain disappeared from the neck of an elderly woman, police arrested two women, one absconding

These days the courage of the miscreants is increasing in Pauri Garhwal. The gold chain disappeared from the neck of an elderly woman at Nimbuchod crossroads of Kotdwar. It is being told that the elderly woman was going to see her sick brother.

Gold chain disappeared from the neck of the elderly woman

According to the information received, the elderly was going to the hospital to see her brother. Suddenly the elderly woman put her hand on her neck and the chain was missing from her neck. When the elderly woman shouted, the three girls started running. Then two girls got caught by the public and one girl managed to escape.

Two girls taken into custody

Local people informed the police about the incident. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot. The police took both the girls into custody. Both the girls caught are said to be from Meerut and Bareilly. Both the girls are being questioned. The police is searching for the girl who fled from the spot.

Interrogation of the girls continues

Regarding the matter, Kotwali in-charge inspector Mani Bhushan Srivastava said that the matter of missing chain is being investigated. The case will be revealed soon. Along with this, both the girls are being interrogated.
