Congress announced candidates for by-elections, know who got ticket from where

Congress has ended the suspense over the names of candidates for the by-elections on Badrinath seat and Mangalore seat. Congress has nominated Congress leader Lakhpat Butola from Badrinath seat. While it has fielded Qazi Nizamuddin from Mangalore seat.

Congress announced candidates for by-elections

On Monday, the Congress high command released the list and announced the names of the candidates for both the seats. Voting for these seats is to be held on July 10. While the results are to be declared on July 13.

Let us tell you that Congress MLA from Badrinath seat Rajendra Bhandari had joined BJP. While BSP MLA Sarwat Karim from Mangalore assembly seat had passed away. After which both the seats were vacant.
