PM Modi expressed grief over the West Bengal rail accident, Railway Minister will personally take charge of the situation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the train accident in West Bengal. He wrote on Twitter, “Condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. I pray that the injured recover as soon as possible. I have spoken to the officials and taken stock of the situation. Rescue operations are underway to help those affected by the accident. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav is also going to reach the spot.”
On the other hand, after the PM’s tweet regarding this accident, a post has also been shared by the PMO. In this, it has been announced that an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh will be given to the families of each person killed in this train accident from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund, while the injured will be given Rs 50,000.
Amit Shah expressed grief over the accident
Union Home Minister Amit Shah has also expressed grief over this accident. He wrote in a post on Instagram, “The train accident in New Jalpaiguri, West Bengal is very sad. My condolences to those who have lost their loved ones in this unfortunate accident and I wish for the speedy recovery of the injured.”
Congress surrounded BJP after the accident
After this accident, Congress attacked the BJP government. Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera said, these incidents once again remind us of accidents like Coromandel Express. Running one Vande Bharat does not improve the condition of other trains. He said on the Railway Minister reaching the accident site, he is doing a great favor to the country. There was a time when he used to resign. Now he gets praise even for reaching the accident site. At present, everyone’s priority is to save people.
