Weather may change in Uttarakhand today, department has issued alert for rain and storm

According to Vikram Singh, Director of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain with strong thunderstorms in Dehradun, Haridwar, Pauri, Champawat, Udham Singh Nagar and Nainital districts on Wednesday. Whereas in Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Uttarkashi, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh districts, there is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms and gusty winds at a speed of 40-50 kilometers.
Trees can fall due to strong winds
Meteorologists have issued a warning of heavy rain with thunderstorms across the state. Apart from this, there is a possibility of trees falling in some areas with gusty winds blowing at a speed of 60 to 70 km. Apart from this, due to heavy rains, waterlogging can also occur in some areas. In such a situation, people have been appealed to be cautious.
