America’s decision to give 1000 suicide drones to Taiwan will increase China’s troubles, is this part of the ‘Hellscape Plan’?

The US government is going to give more than a thousand kamikaze drones to the Taiwanese army. The US has approved the possible sale of roaming weapons. This special drone is made up of Switchblade 300 and Altius 600M. It has been used in the Ukraine war in recent times. Getting such a large number of kamikaze drones will greatly help Taiwan in any future conflict against China. These drones will give additional strength to the Taiwanese army to attack the Chinese army during any conflict in the Taiwan Strait. Altius 600M can also be used to deploy flexible mesh sensor networks over a large part of the strait, which can also help target other Taiwanese weapons.

According to The Warzone report, the sale of weapons to Taiwan has drawn fresh attention to America’s Hellscape plan. Top US Admiral Samuel Paparo recently said that a ‘Hellscape’ strategy has been created to prevent China from invading Taiwan. This will help divert China’s attention and give America time to prepare. China recently clearly stated that it could annex Taiwan by force. After this, America has also been seen to be active. Taiwanese forces are already training to employ anti-tank guided missiles against enemy landing craft and armored vehicles in coastal defense scenarios. The moving weapons will greatly increase the range at which those targets can be attacked. Taiwanese units can also use kamikaze drones, particularly switchblades, to attack enemy forces during any battle on the island.

What is the specialty of these US drones
The long-range Altius 600M can be used to target distant targets. It can also potentially overwhelm security and even damage large surface ships by targeting key systems such as radar and communication arrays, which can make them ineffective in combat. Taiwanese forces on remote islands in the Taiwan Strait, which is about 110 miles wide at its narrowest. Taiwan’s Kinmen County is located less than 10 miles from China. These drones could prove to be very effective from here. Both the Switchblade 300 and Altius 600M provide secondary surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities.

The US military’s Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) announced the US State Department’s approval of two potential deals for the Switchblade 300 and Altius 600M for Taiwan. The US government does not formally recognize Taiwan as an independent country but reserves the right to sell weapons and otherwise work with authorities on the island. The Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the US, Taiwan’s de facto embassy in the US, is listed as the entity that would buy the kamikaze drones. The Switchblade deal is valued at $60.2 million and includes 720 Switchblade 300 (SB300), 35 fly-to-buy AURs and one hundred and one (101) SB300 fire control systems.
