Birth of President Murmu

Let us tell you that the President of India Murmu was born on 20 June 1958 in a Santhal tribal family in Uparbeda village of Mayurbhanj district of Odisha. She took oath as President on 25 July 2022. Earlier she was the Governor of Jharkhand. Murmu’s early life was full of difficulties and struggles. After completing her primary education from the village school, Murmu took a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bhubaneswar for further studies. She became the first girl from her village to go to college.
