UP constable recruitment exam conducting company Edutest got blacklisted, owner had fled to US

Major action has been taken in the Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment Exam paper leak case. After the report of UP’s Special Task Force (UPSTF), the company Edutest which conducted the constable recruitment exam has been blacklisted. For the UPSTF investigation, Meerut Unit Vineet Arya was sent notice four times, but he did not come even once.

Edutest was given the responsibility of conducting the constable recruitment exam. This company itself had given the contract to a logistics company of Noida to deliver the constable recruitment exam paper. People of Edutest had inspected the warehouse of the transport company, called Shubham Mandal on the instructions of Rajiv Nayan Mishra from the box kept in the warehouse and got the recruitment paper out.

After this matter came to light in the STF investigation, Edutest owner Vineet Arya was called by sending him notice four times, but he did not come for questioning even once. It was learned that as soon as the STF investigation started, Vineet Arya had gone to America and has not returned yet.

Let us tell you that the Uttar Pradesh government had canceled the UP Police Constable Recruitment Examination for a total of 60,244 posts in February 2024 due to paper leak. More than 48 lakh candidates had applied for this exam. Cancelling the examination, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had assured to conduct the examination again within six months. The board will soon release the new exam date (UP Police Constable Re-Exam Date 2024). Report sought from officials

Now preparations have been started to re-conduct the canceled constable recruitment exam in UP Police. This time security arrangements are being checked in many layers to ensure that there is no disturbance in the examination. To conduct the examination again, the Recruitment Board has sought a report from the SP, SSP and Police Commissioner of all the districts. The Recruitment Board has sought a report from the treasuries of the districts.  A report has been sought regarding security arrangements. The board has asked whether the treasury premises of the district are safe to keep the examination material or not? Is there a double lock system in the treasuries or not? If yes, then the keys of both the locks should be with different officers.
