Uttarakhand: Another forest worker admitted to AIIMS in Binsar forest fire accident dies, death toll rises to five

On June 13, four forest workers died in a forest fire in Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary in Almora. While four were being treated at AIIMS Delhi. Another forest worker died during treatment. The death toll has gone up to five.

Another forest worker admitted to AIIMS dies

On June 13, on receiving information about the forest fire, eight forest workers went to control the forest fire. A few kilometers before the Binsar Mahadev temple, four forest workers got down from the vehicle and started observing the condition of the forest fire below the mountain. Suddenly, four forest workers caught in the fire from below with strong winds and died on the spot. While four forest workers were injured.

Treatment of three forest workers is going on

All four forest workers were being treated at Sushila Tiwari Hospital. From where all were referred to the higher center AIIMS Delhi. Forest worker Krishna Kumar (21) died on Wednesday during treatment. While Bhagat Singh Bhoj (38), Kailash Bhatt (44) and Kundan Negi (44) are undergoing treatment.
