In Dehradun’s Vikasnagar, the son jumped into the Shakti Canal after getting angry with his family. The father also jumped into the canal to save his son. The rescue team reached the spot on receiving the information and is conducting a rescue operation in search of the father and son.

The incident is said to have taken place near the Dhakrani Court bridge on Wednesday night. According to the information, Shiv Kumar alias Sunny (30), son of Balak Ram, a resident of Haripur, was sitting on the banks of the Shakti Canal after getting angry with his family. Shiv Kumar’s father reached there to find him.
The search for both continues
On seeing his father, Shiv jumped into the Shakti Canal. Balak Ram also jumped into the Shakti Canal to save his son. The SDRF team reached the spot as soon as the information of the incident was received. The SDRF is conducting a rescue operation in search of the father and son. But no trace of both has been found yet.
