Uttarakhand: Dehradun bandh called in protest against Ravi Badola murder, local people took to the streets

Public outrage is increasing over the Ravi Badola murder case. The Mool Niwas, Bhoomi-Law Coordination Struggle Committee has also extended its support to the victims. The Mool Niwas, Bhoomi-Law Coordination Struggle Committee had called for a Dehradun bandh today, i.e. on June 20.
Local people took to the streets
The angry people are demanding death penalty for the killers of Ravi Badola. On Thursday, the protesters took to the streets. During this, a heavy police force is also deployed on the spot. The protesters have blocked the number 6 culvert chowk.
What is the demand of the angry people in the Ravi Badola murder case?
The angry people have demanded a permanent job for the wife of the late Ravi Badola, compensation of one crore rupees, free treatment of the injured along with compensation of Rs 20 lakh each. Along with this, there is a demand to run the investigation of the firing case in a fast track court.
This is the whole matter
Sonu used to do money lending along with his brother Monu Bhardwaj. On Saturday, a youth named Sagar had mortgaged a vehicle near Sonu’s house for Rs. 4.25 lakhs. The owner of the vehicle was Deepak Badola, without whose consent Sonu had mortgaged the vehicle.
When Deepak Badola came to know about this, he asked Sagar Yadav to return his vehicle, but Shambhu Yadav abused Deepak Badola and threatened him not to return the vehicle. On which Deepak contacted Sonu Bhardwaj to ask for his vehicle back, but Sonu refused to give the vehicle.
Deepak along with his friends Subhash and Manoj Negi went to Sonu’s house on Saturday night to ask for his vehicle back from Sonu. During this, Sonu’s friend Ramveer fired at all three and injured them. In which Deepak died. While two youths are undergoing treatment in the hospital.
