Uttarakhand / Udham Sigh Nagar: An illegal casino was running inside the house, police raided and 12 people were arrested
On the information of illegal casino being played in a house in Bajpur, the police and SOG team jointly raided. During the raid, the team arrested 12 people from the spot. Police have recovered cash and other items worth lakhs from the accused. Police have registered a case against the arrested accused and sent them to the court.
Illegal casino was running rampantly inside the house
Let us tell you that Bajpur Police and SOG team had received information from the informer that illegal casino is being played for a long time in Tali Farm located at a distance of about 500 meters from Doraha Chowki. In which people from Uttarakhand as well as Uttar Pradesh have reached to gamble worth lakhs.
Police arrested 12 people
On receiving the information, the police and SOG team jointly raided Gurmukh Singh’s house. During the raid, the police arrested 12 people from the spot. Police recovered cash worth Rs 5 lakh 93 thousand 670, casino coins worth Rs 12000, 4 packs of cards and other items from the spot.
Accused sent to jail
Police have filed a case against all the accused and sent them to court. Disclosing the case, Bajpur CO Ann Ram Arya said that the raid was conducted on the information of the informer. In which 12 people have been arrested. He said that the arrested accused have been sent to court.

Bajpur police have arrested Ankur Agarwal, Charan Sadwani, Imran Khan, Ali Hasan, Faiz Khan, Dalip Kumar, Iqrar Hussain, Harpreet Singh alias Sethi, Manish Kakkar, Firasat Ali, Sanjay Kumar and Gurmukh Singh from the spot.
