Hijab and thick beard banned in Tajikistan, fine will be imposed for breaking the law

There is an official ban on hijab in Tajikistan. This decision has been taken in the parliament of the country with 96 percent Muslim population. According to the new amendments, a heavy fine can be imposed for violating the law.
Let us tell you that the bill has been formally approved in the upper house of the parliament, Majlisi Milli. The bill bans foreign clothes from participating in children’s celebrations for the two most important Islamic holidays, Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azha. During this time children come out of their homes to greet people. This proposal has been passed after the approval of amendments in the Administrative Violations Code.
Ban on thick beard too
Along with this, Tajikistan has also informally banned thick beard. In 2007, the Ministry of Education banned both Islamic clothes and Western-style miniskirts for students. Later this ban was extended to all public institutions.
A fine of Rs 62,172 will be imposed
A debate has erupted in the country over this whole matter. Experts are giving different opinions. The MPs have imposed a fine of 7,920 Somoni i.e. 62,172 Indian rupees for breaking the new law and 39,500 Somoni for legal entities. Apart from this, a rule has been made to impose a fine of 54,000 Somoni to 57,600 Somoni on government officials and religious officials if found guilty.
