Employees in Uttarakhand get Rs 1 crore insurance, retirement age of doctors increased

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami chaired a cabinet meeting on Saturday afternoon. Many important decisions were taken in this meeting. Many important decisions were taken in the meeting like giving accident insurance up to Rs 1 crore to government employees. The government has signed an agreement with four banks to provide accident insurance to the employees. The cabinet meeting was held in the secretariat which lasted for about 2 hours. The cabinet has approved 12 proposals in the meeting.

Agreements have been signed with banks including SBI, Union Bank, Bank of Baroda and Canara Bank. Having an account in these banks will be able to benefit without premium. Apart from this, the Dhami government has also taken important steps to meet the shortage of specialist doctors. The government in the state has now increased the retirement age of specialist doctors. After the decision of the government, now the retirement age of specialist doctors has been increased to 65 years.

Master plan of Mahasu Devta also approved

Master plan of Mahasu Devta has also been approved by the Dhami government. For this, it has been decided to displace 26 families as well as give Rs 10 lakh for building houses. The service manual of ministerial personnel of various authorities in Uttarakhand has also been approved. Apart from this, the proposal to remove 80 posts of the electricity department has been approved in the cabinet meeting. Earlier till now there were only 65 posts in the electricity security department. A new authority will be formed to fix the transport system in urban areas. Finance service officers will be trained in different phases. 13 posts have been approved in Dehradun Food Analysis. At the same time, approval has also been given to fill 8 outsourcing under the medical department.

Reservation for women in committees

Apart from this, it has also been decided to give 33 percent reservation to women in the management committees of cooperative societies. Till now only two posts were reserved for women in the committees. Apart from this, the Dhami government has also given a big gift to the state employees. Recruitment will be done for state employees and they will also be promoted. The Dhami government has also talked about getting subsidy for the next five years to promote tourism.
