Heavy rain alert in Uttarakhand tomorrow, Meteorological Department has issued warning, read the latest update

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain in the state for June 24.

According to Vikram Singh, Director of Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light rain at some places in Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Uttarkashi, Nainital, Almora, Bageshwar, Champawat, Udham Singh Nagar and Pithoragarh districts on Sunday. Apart from this, winds are expected to blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour in all the districts of the state.

Meteorologists have issued an alert of heavy rain in most of the districts of the state on June 24. Along with this, meteorologists have appealed to the travelers coming on Chardham Yatra to be cautious. Along with this, people travelling in the mountains have also been advised to be cautious.
