‘I am speaking from the office of the honourable Chief Minister…’, used to commit fraud by posing as CM Yogi’s secretary; arrested
Uttar Pradesh STF has arrested a person who used to dupe people by posing as CM Yogi’s secretary. Not only this, the accused used to intimidate even DM, SP. According to the information received, on Sunday, STA has arrested an accused, who used to dupe people in the name of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s secretary.
Has deep connection with Agra
According to the information received, UP STF has arrested an accused of making calls in the name of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s secretary. The accused’s name is being told as Vivek Sharma alias Bantu Chaudhary. The accused is a resident of Bah area of Agra district. Vivek has been arrested from Basti district. Vivek told STF that he used to introduce himself as CM’s secretary to officers and common people, due to which the person in front would get scared and he used to cheat easily and used to extort money from people by intimidation.
CM’s name written on True Caller
Not only this, his name was written as Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath in the True Caller application. The accused told that he used to call people to commit fraud and say “I am calling from the office of the Secretary, Hon’ble Chief Minister”. On hearing this, the person on the other end came under his influence. Then the victim used to do whatever he said. UP STF has arrested the accused Vivek Sharma from Basti. Apart from this, investigation revealed that 17 cases are registered against Vivek in Aligarh, Balrampur, Mathura, Kanpur, Hardoi.
