The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has taken a big step against paper leak in the state. In the cabinet meeting held on Tuesday, the Yogi government has approved the introduction of Uttar Pradesh Public Examination Ordinance 2024. According to the information, under this, if found guilty in the paper leak, the punishment will be from 2 years to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1 crore will be imposed.

About 44 proposals were placed in the cabinet meeting, out of which a total of 43 proposals have been passed. Among these, a proposal for a strict law regarding paper leak has also been passed. According to which, now strict action will be taken against the person found guilty in this case.

Actually, under the government’s proposal, there will now be a provision of punishment ranging from two years to life imprisonment against the culprits involved in the paper leak, along with a fine of up to one crore will also be imposed. Let us tell you that during the recent Lok Sabha elections, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had announced to bring a strict law to crack down on the counterfeit mafia. After which now the Yogi government has approved this proposal.
