Uttarakhand / Dehradun: Dead bodies of a woman and a child were found in a decomposed state in a drain, causing panic in the area, they could not be identified

In Dehradun, the bodies of a woman and a baby were found in a decomposed state in the drain ahead of the petrol pump in Barowala area late last evening. The bodies are said to be two to three days old. There is panic in the area since the incident.

After a foul smell came from the spot, the attention of the local people went towards the drain. After finding the bodies in the drain, there was panic among the people nearby. The local people informed the police about the incident. On receiving the information, the police team reached the spot. The baby is said to be about three months old.

The bodies could not be identified

The police reached the spot and tried to identify the bodies but the woman could not be identified at the moment. The police has taken the bodies of the baby and the woman in its custody and sent them to the mortuary for post-mortem. The real cause of death will be revealed only after the post-mortem report comes.
