Uttarakhand: Heavy rains in Dehradun, people got relief from heat, Meteorological Department issued alert for these districts

The weather has changed once again in Uttarakhand. Heavy rain has started in the capital Dehradun. Due to which people have got relief from the heat. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert for other districts including the capital Dehradun.

According to the Director of the Meteorological Department, Vikram Singh, a yellow alert has been issued for heavy rain along with lightning in the capital Dehradun, Tehri, Pauri, Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar, Nainital, Almora and Champawat districts. While most areas of other districts will remain cloudy with light rain.

Heavy to heavy rain alert for three days in Uttarakhand

According to meteorologists, there will be an orange alert for heavy to heavy rain in most of the districts of the state on 27, 28 and 30 June. During this time, there is a possibility of light to heavy landslides on the mountains. In such a situation, meteorologists have appealed to the people traveling on the mountains to be cautious.
