Uttarakhand: A young man died after drowning in a waterfall, he had come for a walk with his friends, sensation was created after the body was found
A young man who had come to visit Nainital with his friends died after drowning in a waterfall located in Jyotikot area. The police have recovered the body of the young man from the waterfall. After which there is panic among the family members.
Youth dies after drowning in waterfall
On Tuesday, Mohit Arya (25) had reached Dhakiyatal Gadhera near Jyotikot Petrol Pump from Udham Singh Nagar with his five friends. All the friends partied here and went to their homes. But Mohit did not reach home. When Mohit did not reach home even till Wednesday, his family registered a missing report. It was found that Mohit had gone to visit Nainital waterfall with his five friends.
SDRF recovered the body of the young man
When the police interrogated Mohit’s friends, they told that Mohit went missing in the Gadhera. Due to fear, they did not tell this to anyone and went to their respective homes. On the information given by the youth, the police and SDRF team searched for Mohit in the Gadhera. After a long search, the police recovered the body of the youth from the stream and sent it for postmortem. No written complaint has been received from the family of the youth till now. But the police has started investigating the case on its own level.
