Keeping this in mind, the party has taken a tough stand and District Panchayat President Rajni Bhandari from Chamoli has been expelled from the Congress for 6 years with immediate effect. She said that at this time the party is not in the mood to be negligent. Garima Dasauni said that the party had received the resignation of Rajni Bhandari’s husband Rajendra Bhandari, but no resignation of Rajni Bhandari has come to the PCC. She says that the PCC had received information that Rajni Bhandari is involved in anti-party activities in the Badrinath by-election, so Rajni and five other people have been expelled from the Congress for 6 years.
