Hemant Soren got big relief from Jharkhand High Court, got bail, came out of jail

Former Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren has got a big relief from the Jharkhand High Court. He has got bail in the land scam case. The hearing in this case was completed on June 13, after which the court reserved the decision. The bench of Justice Rangan Mukhopadhyay was looking into this matter. After the order of the High Court, Hemant Soren has come out of Ranchi jail.
Jharkhand High Court granted bail to Soren
Jharkhand High Court has granted bail to Hemant Soren in the land scam case. In this case, Hemant Soren is accused of unauthorizedly occupying 8.86 acres of land in Bargai zone. Soren is facing a money laundering case under the PMLA Act.
What did ED say in court?
During the hearing in this case, ED had told the court that Soren has occupied the land. Because of this, he should not be granted bail. On the other hand, Hemant Soren said about these allegations that these allegations leveled by ED are baseless. This is not a case of money laundering but of political revenge. ED is working at the behest of the central government.
Arrested from Ranchi on 31 January
Let us tell you that Hemant Soren was arrested by ED from Ranchi on 31 January. Before the arrest, Soren had resigned from the post of Chief Minister. After the decision of the High Court, Hemant Soren is now out of jail. However, it is expected that ED may knock the door of the Supreme Court against the decision of the High Court.
