Holy Amarnath Yatra begins, PM Modi wishes the devotees by writing Jai Baba Barfani
The holy Amarnath Yatra has started from today. On this occasion, PM Modi has greeted the devotees. PM Modi shared a post in this regard on the social media platform X. He wrote – My heartfelt best wishes to all the pilgrims. This journey associated with the darshan and worship of Baba Barfani infuses immense energy in Shiva devotees. He further wrote – I wish that all the devotees are blessed with the blessings of Baba. Jai Baba Barfani.
First batch leaves from Baltal, Nunwan base camp
Let us tell you that the first batch of pilgrims in the Amarnath Yatra left from Baltal, Nunwan base camp. This was the first batch of pilgrims to leave for the cave temple located in the Himalayas of South Kashmir. With this, the 52-day annual Amarnath Yatra started from Saturday.
Second batch leaves for cave temple
At the same time, the second batch of pilgrims of Amarnath Yatra left for the cave temple from Bhagwati Nagar base camp in Jammu. This yatra started from the 48 km long Nunwan-Pahalgam route and the 14 km long Baltal route. Both of these are traditional routes for the Amarnath Yatra. According to the information, the batches of pilgrims on both the routes were sent off by the respective Deputy Commissioners as well as senior officers of police and civil administration.
Tight security arrangements
The devotees of Amarnath Yatra will worship the Shivling made of ice in the cave temple. Tight security arrangements have been made to ensure that the pilgrims do not face any kind of difficulties. Apart from the local police, thousands of soldiers of Central Reserve Police Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police and other paramilitary forces have been deployed to tighten the security arrangements. The route of the pilgrims is also being monitored by drones. This Amarnath Yatra will conclude on August 19.
