Uttarakhand / Almora: A truck loaded with cylinders fell into the river in Seraghat, driver-conductor died in the accident

A truck loaded with cylinders met with an accident in Seraghat area. The truck went out of control and fell into the river. The driver-conductor died in this accident. The police have taken both the bodies into custody and started investigating the case. The dead driver has been identified but the dead conductor has not been identified yet.

A truck loaded with cylinders fell into the river in Seraghat of Almora district. Two people died in this accident. According to the information received, a truck carrying LPG cylinders (truck number- UK 04 CB-3110) met with an accident late Friday evening. The truck was going from Haldwani to Berinag. The truck suddenly went out of control and fell into the Jagan river near Tani ahead of Mangalta on Almora-Seraghat road.
Driver-conductor died tragically in the accident
Due to the accident, all the cylinders loaded in the truck were scattered in the ditch and the river. When people saw them, they informed the village guard. After which, on the information of the village guard, the Dhaulchhina police station reached the spot. The police started searching in the ditch and found the truck driver and conductor lying unconscious. Both were taken to the hospital. Where the doctors declared them dead.
The conductor has not been identified yet
It is being told that the truck driver who died in the accident has been identified as Harish Chandra Bisht son of Pari Singh resident of Kapkot Bageshwar. But the conductor has not been identified yet. The police has started identifying the conductor.
